The real fan inside makes a huge difference compared to the digital loop I had before, it just blends into the background instead of catching my ear. I leave it on low all night and wake up without that groggy feeling.

The two speed settings are all I need — low drowns out my upstairs neighbor's TV, high covers the street traffic. It's an actual fan inside, not a looping track, so I never catch the sound resetting. Three weeks in and I'm asleep before I notice it's on.

I was skeptical that a sound machine could actually help me sleep, but the natural fan sound from this thing is so continuous and unlooped that my brain just stops tracking it. The two speed settings are perfect, though I almost always keep it on the lower one.
