The rain setting on this thing is what finally got me sleeping through the night instead of waking at every car door. I keep it on my nightstand and the sound fills the whole bedroom without that tinny edge cheaper machines have.

The white noise is remarkably smooth—no annoying loops or hissy artifacts, just a steady wash that drowns out my neighbor's TV. I set it up in the bedroom and the fan setting alone has improved how fast I fall asleep.

The volume range is impressively wide, so I can set it just above a whisper for the bedroom or crank it up to drown out my neighbor’s TV in the living room. The white noise loop is seamless, and I’ve fallen asleep faster every night since it arrived.
