The 26 sounds gave me plenty to cycle through until I landed on brown noise, and now I'm asleep before the timer even kicks in. The night light slowly fading to a dim amber is what really sells the whole wind-down routine for my kid.
The color wheel on this thing is way more useful than I expected — I just dial it to a warm amber and the whole room melts into sleep mode. My toddler actually points at it now when she’s ready for bed, and the 26 sounds mean we’ve already found two that drown out the neighbor’s dog.
I was skeptical about another sound machine, but having 26 sounds means my kid and I finally found our own favorites instead of fighting over one setting. The color-changing light is bright enough to read by but dims down to a soft glow, which has made our whole bedtime routine way less of a battle.
